(NLĐO) – The price of SJC gold bars and gold rings remains unchanged, with some places buying gold bars at a maximum of 83.9 million VND/ounce.
On the morning of December 18th, the price of SJC gold bars was listed by SJC Company at 82.6 million VND/ounce for buying and 85.1 million VND/ounce for selling, remaining stable compared to yesterday.
This is also the trading price of SJC gold bars at PNJ, DOJI , and Bao Tin Minh Chau companies.
Commercial banks continue to list different buying prices for gold, such as: Sacombank at 82.6 million VND, Eximbank at 83.1 million VND, andACB at 83.8 million VND per tael of gold. Meanwhile, the selling price remains the same as at gold companies.
Domestic gold prices have remained stable over the past two days.
Notably, the Mi Hong gold shop system had the highest buying price for gold bars, reaching 83.9 million VND, while selling it 100,000 VND/ounce lower than other establishments. Both buying and selling prices at this gold shop decreased by 100,000 - 200,000 VND compared to the previous day.
Similarly, the prices of 24K gold rings and other gold jewelry remained relatively stable. SJC Company traded plain gold rings at 82.6 million VND/ounce for buying and 84.3 million VND/ounce for selling. PNJ, Mi Hong, and DOJI listed similar buying and selling prices for gold rings.
Domestic gold prices have stabilized as global prices have also shown little fluctuation. On the international market, gold is trading at $2,649 per ounce today, down approximately $5 per ounce from the previous session. Gold prices have yet to break through as the market awaits the US Federal Reserve's (FED) policy meeting; the US dollar remains high around 106.6 points, and cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin continue to reach new all-time highs.
In the domestic market, gold prices have mostly fluctuated, with a relatively quiet market. However, there was a surprise when PNJ, a major gold company, announced its business results for the first 11 months of 2024, showing net revenue of VND 35,210 billion and after-tax profit of VND 1,876 billion, increasing by 19.4% and 8.3% respectively compared to the same period last year. With these results, PNJ has achieved nearly 90% of its annual profit target.
