Upgrading the stock market is a key task assigned by the Government to the Ministry of Finance to take the lead in implementing. In recent times, under the direction of the Ministry, the State Securities Commission and related units have made efforts to perfect the legal system, upgrade technological infrastructure and improve market operating conditions, in order to meet the strict criteria of international rating organizations.
The Resolution on Interpellation at the 9th Session was passed on June 27, 2025, the National Assembly emphasized the need to develop capital mobilization channels from the capital market. In 2025, it is necessary to fully prepare the conditions to be ready to upgrade the Vietnamese stock market to the emerging market group.
In addition to technical and institutional efforts, raising investor awareness, especially individual investors, is also an urgent requirement. The Government 's stock market development strategy to 2030 (issued with Decision No. 1726/QD-TTg dated December 29, 2023) has clearly defined the task of developing and diversifying the investor base. At the same time, improving the quality of investment demand and building an investor training strategy suitable for each stage of market development.
The workshop organized by Investor Magazine is an opportunity for management agencies, experts, businesses, and domestic and foreign investment organizations to discuss and share solutions to promote investor awareness, contributing to the sustainable development of the Vietnamese stock market.
The event is expected to be attended by representatives of central ministries, branches, economic and financial experts, leaders of banks, securities companies, investment funds, international organizations, universities, and a large number of businesses and investors.
