Construction of the 709 billion VND project to improve Huong Khe urban infrastructure is about to start.

The Huong Khe urban infrastructure improvement sub-project ( Ha Tinh ) with a total investment of more than 709 billion VND will begin construction after the Lunar New Year.

On the morning of January 15, the People's Committee of Huong Khe district held a conference to deploy the construction of the Huong Khe urban infrastructure improvement sub-project under the project "Improving urban infrastructure to minimize the impact of climate change for 4 coastal provinces of North Central Vietnam".

The urban infrastructure improvement sub-project is invested by the People's Committee of Huong Khe district with a total capital of more than 709 billion VND from loans from the French Development Agency (AFD), non-refundable aid from the European Union and counterpart funds.

The project includes the following components: renovating Binh Son Lake; renovating and dredging Khe Leo drainage canal; renovating N22 drainage canal; wastewater collection system and treatment plant; renovating and upgrading Ho Chi Minh flood-crossing road, Tran Phu street, connecting roads cut off by floods and energy projects.

Mr. Ngo Xuan Ninh - Chairman of Huong Khe District People's Committee said that this is a project that officials and people are looking forward to. Up to now, with the attention of all levels, the project has been prepared to start construction and deploy construction to improve the quality of life and activities for the people and contribute to building a town that meets civilized urban standards. Contractors are requested to synchronously implement technical solutions, measures, and requirements during the implementation process to ensure labor safety, environmental sanitation, security and order, and especially to implement projects to ensure quality and progress requirements.

Up to now, the locality has completed about 80% of the compensation and site clearance work, meeting the conditions for starting the project. The bidding and selection of related packages have been completed. The project will be implemented right after the Lunar New Year 2024.

The project is a joint venture of Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company 8 - International Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company - Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company HTT.
