On the morning of October 19th, Hanoi FC held a ceremony to announce their sponsor and launch their new kit for the 2023-2024 season.
Chairman Do Vinh Quang has set the goal of winning the V-League 2023-2024 championship for Hanoi FC.
Speaking at the ceremony, Hanoi FC President Do Vinh Quang said: “Hanoi FC’s goal remains unchanged. That is to maintain our aspiration to reach continental heights and continue to focus on investing to ensure our leading position in the domestic league.”
We always strive for the highest goal because finishing second is also a failure."
Prior to the start of the 2023-2024 V-League season, Hanoi FC announced the departure of head coach Bozidar Bandovic and appointed assistant coach Le Duc Tuan as his replacement.
This season, in addition to competing in domestic leagues, the team from the capital city is also participating in the AFC Champions League.
However, Hanoi FC lost both of their first two matches, and this was the main reason why coach Bozidar Bandovic lost his job.
"With thorough preparation, Hanoi FC is fortunate to have the opportunity to compete against some of the strongest opponents in the Asian region, and these valuable experiences will provide the club with crucial insights to improve its professional quality and enhance its image on the international stage."
"Despite having to face high-level opponents recently, the players have shown a determined spirit and never given up until the very last minute of the match," Mr. Do Vinh Quang continued.
In the 2023 season, Vietnam's most successful team had an unsuccessful season, losing the V-League championship to CAHN due to an inferior goal difference.
In the 2023 National Cup competition, the purple-shirted team also failed to reach the final.
