As of September 19, in Hai Duong province, there were 909 enterprises, organizations and business households using electronic invoices with codes from tax authorities generated from cash registers with more than 9 million invoices, reaching 97% of the yearly plan and 2.2 times higher than the same period last year (in the same period in 2023, there were 108,538 invoices).
The sharp increase in the number of electronic invoices generated from cash registers is mainly due to petroleum businesses issuing individual invoices for each sale. Areas with many effective implementation measures and good tax management for electronic invoices and electronic invoices generated from cash registers are Hai Duong City, Chi Linh City, Nam Sach City, etc.
In order to encourage consumers to have the habit of purchasing goods, using services and receiving electronic invoices, from April 2022, the General Department of Taxation launched the "Lucky Invoice" program for invoices with tax authority codes. This is considered a form of encouragement for sellers to issue invoices and declare and pay taxes correctly, fully and promptly.
According to the provisions of Article 8 of Circular No. 78/2021/TT-BTC, the subjects applying for electronic invoices generated from cash registers with codes of tax authorities include: enterprises; organizations; households and individuals doing business and paying taxes according to the declaration method with activities of providing goods and services directly to consumers.
