Having gone through 5 seasons since 2019, the 6th HTV Challenge Cup/2024, held at NovaWorld Phan Thiet last weekend, continues to bring off-road vehicle sports closer to the audience and meet the tastes of the Vietnamese off-road enthusiast community.
This year's season saw a record number of racing teams, with 60 teams comprising 130 athletes from across the country, including Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Binh Thuan, Dong Nai, Hanoi, Ha Tinh, Lam Dong, Ninh Thuan, Ho Chi Minh City, Vung Tau, and more.
With the return of the professional category, along with the original and upgraded vehicles of the semi-professional category, the exciting course at NovaWorld Phan Thiet presented many challenges requiring drivers to handle complex terrain such as: deep pits, staggered pits, muddy ponds, cliffs… as well as speed control skills on red sand terrain.
Athlete Phan Duc, the lead driver of the Rubi Racing Team, excitedly shared: “This terrain creates a lot of excitement for the athletes, because they can hone their skills on various terrains from mud, sand, rocks, etc. Competing here is really great.”
After two days of intense and exciting performances, the HTV Challenge Cup 2024 racing competition concluded with a convincing final result: the new champion of the Professional category is HOC RUBIRACING with 590 points, while the top spot in the Semi-Professional category goes to DOBINSONS-COOPER-WOLVER.

Just two weeks before the HTV Challenge Cup, NovaWorld Phan Thiet welcomed over 3,000 athletes to participate in the Phan Thiet Marathon 2024 organized by Phan Thiet City.
