Review of the Project

Overview of the conference.

Over the past four years of implementing Project 01, the Provincial Women's Union has coordinated and initially achieved many important results. Throughout the province, 107,500 members and women have accessed information and policies, participated in provincial-level communication conferences, workshops, and forums; more than 2,000 cadres, members, and female cooperative managers have participated in numerous training courses, forums, and workshops. This has improved their management capacity, business skills, market access, and digital transformation application; 5 new cooperatives have been established, linked to local strengths; and support in terms of seedlings, livestock, and technology has been provided, totaling over 700 million VND.

The cooperatives have initially operated stably, creating regular jobs for hundreds of female workers with incomes ranging from 4 to 7 million VND per month. Emphasis has been placed on market connections, brand building, product participation in OCOP programs, and e-commerce, contributing to increased product value and competitiveness.

At the conference, delegates discussed and objectively and comprehensively assessed the achievements and analyzed the difficulties and obstacles encountered in implementing the Project; shared successful and innovative models and approaches in promoting the role of women and creating jobs for female workers, especially models associated with specialty products, OCOP (One Commune One Product), and e-commerce. They also proposed solutions to improve the quality of operations of cooperatives managed by women, focusing on enhancing management capacity; providing capital, science and technology support, and digital transformation; expanding production-consumption linkages; building brands; and ensuring sustainable development.
