When winter begins to visit Nanjing city (China), Zhongshan scenic area seems to be covered in a brilliant coat of red and yellow of the changing leaves season.
Seen from above, the My Linh Palace, hidden among the rows of towering star trees, appears like a sparkling “golden necklace”. This spectacular scene captivates anyone who sees it.
With a total area of over 2,000 square meters, this is one of the most magnificent and elegant architectural works in Nanjing, known as "the No. 1 villa in the Far East".
The construction of My Linh Palace began in 1930 and was completed in 1934. Since March 1984, My Linh Palace has officially opened to the public, with many original furniture still preserved.

The project is designed in harmony with the shape of the mountain, looking from afar like an emerald necklace. The curved road is shaded by green star trees forming a “necklace”, and the villa with green tiled roofs glittering in the sunlight like a jade pendant dotted with nature.
The main building of the My Linh Palace is a three-story mansion built on the mountain terrain, with a double-roof and blue-glazed ceramic tiles. The exterior of the building is majestic and magnificent, while the interior exudes elegance and sophistication. Surrounded by dense forests and flowers blooming all year round.
The My Linh Palace is also known as a “phoenix palace”. The entire structure bears a strong feminine imprint: On the pedestal there are 34 white marble columns, each column is carved with the image of a phoenix.
