Exciting Ho Chi Minh City People's Court Open Pickleball Tournament 2025

The 2025 Open Pickleball Tournament of Competition Cluster No. 1 - Ho Chi Minh City People's Court took place today at Tana Court, attracting more than 100 players to compete enthusiastically in the spirit of fun, health, and connection.

The 2025 Pickleball Tournament of Emulation Cluster No. 1 - Ho Chi Minh City People's Court (expanded) aims to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), and the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Courts (September 13, 1945 - September 13, 2025). It also serves to effectively implement the plan for launching a special emulation movement of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Court.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Pham Tuan Anh, Chief Justice of the People's Court of Region 5, Ho Chi Minh City, stated: "The pickleball tournament is organized to celebrate major holidays throughout the year, creating a healthy and beneficial playground with a vibrant competitive atmosphere. This aims to enhance the spiritual life, foster solidarity, and motivate civil servants and employees to strive to excellently fulfill their assigned tasks."

Deputy Chief Justice of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Court, Quach Huu Thai, assessed this tournament as highly meaningful in commemoration of major holidays and the anniversary of the establishment of the People's Court system. The athletes created a vibrant atmosphere, demonstrating a spirit of solidarity and enthusiasm. This shows that not only in their professional work but also in sports , civil servants and workers demonstrate a positive and dynamic spirit.

The tournament attracted over 100 players competing in men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles. After a lively and exciting competition, the tournament concluded successfully. In the men's doubles (leadership category), the championship title went to Pham Tuan Anh/Thai Hung. In the women's doubles (leadership category), My Dung/Thanh Mai won the championship.

In the mixed doubles leadership category, Thai Hung/Huong Giang took the top spot. Meanwhile, the men's doubles championship went to Chi Hieu/Duy Thuat, the mixed doubles championship to Xuan Hung/Thi Hoa, and the women's doubles championship to Thi Tham/Thi Tuyen. In addition, the organizers also awarded prizes for the open categories for guests, sponsors, etc.
