Over nearly two decades of development, Sun Group has become one of Vietnam's leading private economic groups, pioneering the creation of a comprehensive ecosystem encompassing tourism, entertainment, high-end real estate, infrastructure, and finance. Recently, Sun Group further expanded into the aviation sector with Sun PhuQuoc Airways, completing a comprehensive ecosystem from ground to air and bringing Vietnam, especially Phu Quoc, closer to the world. Therefore, studying at the Sun Aviation Academy offers students a distinct advantage: not only access to internationally standardized training programs, but also guaranteed career opportunities within Sun Group's aviation ecosystem, particularly at Sun PhuQuoc Airways and Sun Air. This is a significant plus, providing students with a clear, solid, and prestigious career path immediately after graduation.
Sun Group has created many iconic tourist attractions throughout Vietnam, including the Kiss of the Sea show in Sunset Town, which recently set a Guinness World Record.
In the first half of 2025, Vietnam's aviation industry experienced a strong recovery, with a total of approximately 41.3 million passengers – a 10% increase compared to the same period last year. Of these, international passengers accounted for 23 million (a 13% increase) and domestic passengers reached 18.4 million (a 7% increase). This confirms the significant demand for high-quality aviation personnel in Vietnam. The establishment of the Sun Aviation Academy in partnership with CAE not only demonstrates Sun Group's long-term goal of improving the quality of aviation services but also ensures a professional training and recruitment process for young talents domestically, contributing to the proactive development of a sustainable workforce for the future, not only for Sun PhuQuoc Airways or Sun Air but also for the entire Vietnamese aviation industry.
