The Vietnamese language enhancement project is an important strategy, helping children practice all four skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and get acquainted with new learning methods. Children are exposed to Vietnamese through conversations, games, pictures, singing, dancing, storytelling, drawing, and counting. Schools also open academic playgrounds such as storytelling, poetry reading, and singing in Vietnamese to stimulate interest in learning.
Teachers actively communicate in Vietnamese in all situations close to real life, helping students increase their vocabulary, use Vietnamese regularly, gradually remove language barriers, and improve their ability to absorb the subject.
In the 2025-2026 school year, the province will have more than 32,800 children entering first grade, of which over 11,600 are ethnic minority students. The project not only helps children prepare for primary school but also improves the quality of education in areas with a large ethnic minority population.
