Today (March 19), Phuc Son Group Joint Stock Company (Phuc Son Group) submitted a plan to the Khanh Hoa Provincial Land Development Center and related units regarding the resumption of construction on the Ngoc Hoi intersection project, after a period of interruption.

According to the plan, starting from March 20th, the company will begin implementing the unfinished items at the project. More specifically, the contractor will construct the drainage system for the ground-level access road of branch N1 (east side), the section from the railway to Cho Moi Bridge.

Regarding the scope of the ground-level access roads for branches N1 and N3 (west), the pedestrian bridge over the railway, and some other items, Phuc Son Company has set a completion schedule for July 2025.

For the N4 branch (northern section) at locations where land is already available, the contractor will complete several items between now and September 2025.

In addition, Phuc Son Group requests that the relevant authorities quickly complete the land clearance work for areas where land is not yet available so that they can begin construction and avoid disruptions.

Currently, Phuc Son Group has restructured its personnel at its Nha Trang representative office and secured the necessary finances to continue implementing the next phase of construction.

The Ngoc Hoi intersection project, located between the North-South railway line and the 23rd of October and 19th of May roads (Vinh Hiep commune and Ngoc Hiep ward), has a total investment of 1,351 billion VND. According to the design, the Ngoc Hoi intersection has four overpass branches: N1 (East branch), N2 (South branch), N3 (West branch), and N4 (North branch).

This is a key project for the province, expected to alleviate traffic congestion at the western gateway to Nha Trang. Construction began in late 2017 and was projected to be completed within two years. However, the project has been delayed, and the investor has repeatedly requested extensions.

Currently, the basic infrastructure is complete and operational. However, the investor has not yet received the land for the northern branch (N4) and is therefore still waiting, which will determine the construction plan.

Regarding Phuc Son Group, in February 2024, Mr. Nguyen Van Hau (commonly known as Hau Phao - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company) was prosecuted and detained by the Ministry of Public Security . The Ngoc Hoi intersection project was also temporarily suspended. The construction unit only carried out bridge painting and cleaning up excess soil, rocks, and materials on branches N1 and N3.

Current status of BT projects in Nha Trang related to the recently arrested Chairman of Phuc Son Group: Phuc Son Group, whose Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Nguyen Van Hau, was assigned by the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee to implement 3 BT (Build-Transfer) projects. The police investigation agency is requesting Khanh Hoa to provide documents for Phuc Son's projects.
