Training course on "Application of AI in journalism" for 43 students

On September 19-20, the Center for Journalism Training - Vietnam Journalists Association coordinated with the Provincial Journalists Association to organize a training course on "Application of artificial intelligence (AI) in journalism" for 43 trainees who are officers, reporters, and editors of Cao Bang Newspaper and cultural and communication centers of wards and communes.

Students were given an overview of artificial intelligence in journalism by journalist, MSc. Vu The Cuong, lecturer at the Academy of Journalism and Communication; artificial intelligence tools in content creation; AI applications in analyzing press data, creating illustrations; AI applications in multimedia storytelling such as using AI to generate ideas, search and verify information, create audio, create videos from text, etc.

Through the training course, the aim is to equip reporters and editors with the necessary knowledge and skills to approach and apply AI in their work. From there, apply AI to automate the process of producing press content, improve the quality of images, videos and analyze big data to capture news trends quickly and accurately, contributing to the development of the press industry in the future.
