To help people stabilize their lives soon, the Military Region 5 Command has planned and quickly established hundreds of mobile construction teams to go to localities to carry out the task of rebuilding houses for people. On December 1, in Hoa Thinh commune (Dak Lak province), Military Region 5 launched a campaign to support the construction of houses for households that had collapsed or completely collapsed after the flood.

According to Military Region 5, after the recent floods, many families in the Military Region lost their entire residence, their lives were turned upside down in just a few days. In that context, rebuilding houses for people is an urgent need, with the meaning of livelihood, spirit and post-disaster reconstruction.

According to a survey by December 1, the Army will directly participate in building 403 houses for affected households in the three provinces of Gia Lai, Dak Lak, and Khanh Hoa. Dak Lak alone has 213 houses. Each house is built by a construction team of 15-17 officers and soldiers, including 3-4 highly skilled masons. Each house is expected to cost at least 170 million VND, mobilized from the budget and socialized sources.

Within 60 days, the families will have safe and comfortable housing before the Lunar New Year 2026.
