Military Youth with Traffic Culture

On October 17, information from the Military Youth Committee said that, implementing the decision of the Chief of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army on approving the plan to coordinate the organization of the "Military Youth with Traffic Culture" Festival in 2025, the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army directed the Military Youth Committee to coordinate the organization of practical activities, focusing on the "Military Youth with Traffic Culture" Festival in 2025 in the two regions of the North and South.

Specifically, the Army Youth Committee will coordinate with agencies and units inside and outside the Army to organize the "Army Youth and Traffic Culture" Day at the Bac Ninh Provincial Military Command (Northern region) and the 320th Division of the 34th Army Corps (Southern region).

According to Colonel Nguyen Van Ninh, Deputy Head of the Army Youth Committee, with the participation of thousands of officers, youth union members of the Army and other forces, the event aims to promote propaganda work, raise awareness, and create a strong transformation in consciousness and responsibility in complying with laws, discipline, and regulations ensuring traffic safety; especially the cultural awareness in traffic participation of the Youth Union officers and youth union members, contributing to minimizing traffic accidents in and outside the Army.

Colonel Nguyen Van Ninh stated that the "Army Youth and Traffic Culture" event at the 320th Division of the 34th Army Corps will take place on October 21st, and will include activities such as: launching the event, a march, and dissemination of information on the Law on Road Traffic Safety; on railway and inland waterway safety and traffic etiquette; and guidance on practicing scientific and safe motorcycle driving techniques.

The event in the northern region is scheduled to take place on November 11th at the Bac Ninh Provincial Military Command, and will include activities such as: launching the event, a parade, and dissemination of information on the Law on Road Traffic Safety; on railway and inland waterway safety and traffic etiquette; guidance on practicing scientific and safe motorcycle driving techniques; and a theatrical competition on the theme "Military Youth and Traffic Culture".

To ensure thorough preparation for the activities of the festival, the Army Youth Committee, together with relevant agencies and units, conducted surveys of the festival venues, including: the parade route, the festival launch site; the safe driving instruction area, the competition hall, etc.
