On September 14, at the Ho Chi Minh City Academy of Officials, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held the opening ceremony of a training program to update knowledge for leaders and managers for the 2024 target group.
Attending the event were comrades: Phan Nguyen Nhu Khue, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Van Thi Bach Tuyet, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Organization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.
Also attending the opening ceremony were 865 leaders and managers of category 3, including: members of the 11th City Party Committee; members of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee; deputy comrades of the City Party Committee's advisory and support agencies; heads and deputy heads of the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations; heads and deputy heads of Ho Chi Minh City departments, branches and sectors and equivalent; Secretaries, Deputy Secretaries, Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of the People's Councils and People's Committees, members of the Standing Committees of districts and Thu Duc City; Secretaries, Deputy Secretaries, members of the Standing Committees of Party Committees directly under the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee...
The training and knowledge update program for leaders and managers for the period of 2024 aims to equip them with knowledge and information, raise political awareness, ideology, ethics, lifestyle and answer new practical issues.
Thereby creating unity in perception and action, improving capacity and professional qualifications for the team of leaders and managers of Ho Chi Minh City to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
The curriculum includes two topics: Topic 1 is "Building a socialist rule-of-law state that creates development, is honest, effective, efficient, and serves the people"; Topic 2 is about "results of Ho Chi Minh City's socio -economic development in the 5-year period 2021-2025, orientations for Ho Chi Minh City's socio-economic development in the period 2026-2030".
In the morning, Associate Professor, Dr. Truong Ho Hai, Director of the Institute of State and Law, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, reported on topic 1. In the afternoon, comrade Phan Van Mai, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee is expected to report on topic 2.
In addition to listening to lectures, students also participate in discussions and raise questions about content related to real-life issues happening in society in general and in Ho Chi Minh City in particular.
