Thousands of candidates, dressed in traditional ao dai, ethnic skirts, and shorts with numbered jerseys, gathered at Hanoi Pedagogical University this morning.
Wearing a striking traditional costume, Tran Thi Hue ( Ninh Binh ) said she would perform the song "My Joy" in the talent competition. Although she is not a contestant from a mountainous region, Hue chose this costume to suit the song.
“I took the entrance exam for preschool education because I love children. I am quite confident in my singing voice and hope to achieve high results in the talent test,” Hue said.

Giàng Thị Cúc returned to Hanoi from Điện Biên two days ago. This morning, Cúc also chose to wear the traditional attire of the Hmong ethnic group to the exam site.
The female student chose the song "My Joy" for her talent performance in the early childhood education entrance exam at Hanoi Pedagogical University.
Besides singing, Cúc also had to demonstrate her storytelling talent. The student said she searched online for short, easy-to-listen stories to enter the competition.
Before the competition, Cúc practiced at home many times. She asked her family members to act as "judges," monitoring her presentation to make corrections and improvements. This female student hopes to achieve 8 points in each talent section of the competition.
Having performed quite well in the long jump, Vu Thi Han (Bac Ninh) said that she had to take two aptitude tests: long jump and 100m run.
Hân's dream is to become a physical education teacher. "There are five male teachers at my school. I wish I could be a female teacher of this subject. I'm not worried about the hard work, only about not having a job, and my parents are very supportive of me becoming a physical education teacher," Hân said.

Hân previously won a Silver Medal in football at the 2024 National Phu Dong Sports Festival and a Gold Medal in sepak takraw in Bac Giang province (formerly) in 2025.
This female student had already secured a direct admission spot to Hanoi Pedagogical University, but she registered for the aptitude test to give herself another chance.
