Vietnam's Next Top Model contestant tells story of Vietnamese youth in short video

Episode 5 of Vietnam's Next Top Model 2025 aired on the evening of August 31st, taking the audience on an emotional journey in Hanoi. Not only a creative challenge, this is also an opportunity for contestants to express their love for the Fatherland and the aspirations of Vietnamese youth in the new era.

Episode 5 of Vietnam's Next Top Model 2025

Following the challenges of the previous four episodes, the Top 10 of Vietnam's Next Top Model 2025 arrived in Hanoi amidst a special atmosphere as the entire country joyfully celebrated the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2nd. This was the setting for episode 5, where the contestants were challenged not only in their professional skills but also in their responsibility as young people to spread love for their homeland and country.

At the beginning of episode 5, the contestants participated in a Master class with singer Vo Ha Tram, a guest instructor, to guide them on acting skills in front of the camera. In the challenge of creating a short video set to the song " Nguyen La Nguoi Viet Nam" (Wishing to be Vietnamese) , the singer helped the contestants learn how to control their facial expressions, eye contact, mouth movements, and overall demeanor to effectively convey emotions.

In the Hanoi challenge, the Top 10 were divided into 3 teams. Their task was to create a short video, no longer than 3 minutes, telling the story of Vietnamese youth in the new era: daring to dream, knowing how to act, full of love and national pride.

After much effort, Team A (Ai Bang - Tra My - Tuyet Mai - My Ngan) made an impression with their skillful presentation.

Meanwhile, Team B (Mai Hoa – Bao Ngoc – Kim Thanh) moved the judges by skillfully incorporating a true story from Mai Hoa's family: wartime memories told by her grandmother, and images of a peaceful Vietnam today. Their message, "Peace is beautiful," evoked many emotions.

Team C (Mi Lan – Giang Phung – Diep Luc) revealed many shortcomings due to a lack of cohesion, resulting in a disjointed product in terms of both story and message.

Episode 6 of Vietnam's Next Top Model 2025 will air at 8 PM on September 7th on VTV9 and at 8:30 PM on the MultiTV Official YouTube channel.
