Speaking to a VietNamNet reporter at Gia Lam airport, Major General Le Quang Tuyen, Deputy Head of the General Department of Defense Industry, said that as of this morning, more than 98,000 people had registered to visit the exhibition.

In the two days prior to the exhibition, visitors were primarily professionals involved in the defense industry, "estimated at over 10,000 people per day."

"On the first day of opening to the public, we coordinated with the police force and the Hanoi Capital Command, operating remotely. This year, the exhibition organizers also opened many entrances and exits with specific directions for people to avoid overcrowding and congestion," Major General Le Quang Tuyen said.

The organizers also have counting devices to track the number of people attending the exhibition, and they expect to have specific figures by the end of the day.

Now in its third day, Major General Le Quang Tuyen initially assessed the exhibition as very successful, with all criteria and aspects exceeding initial expectations.
