Mr. Truong Xuan Ha - the store owner shared: "Que Lam organic pork is a joint product between Que Lam Group and livestock farmers in Ha Tinh . Thanks to the application of circular farming techniques, ensuring strict standards on breeds, barns, water sources, food... Que Lam organic pork has safe quality with the 5-no criteria (no lean meat enhancers, no colorants, no growth stimulants, no antibiotics and no preservatives). In addition, organic pork has a natural bright red color, firm meat, good elasticity... bringing a delicious, fragrant and fatty taste when enjoyed".

According to Mr. Ha, in the face of the current African swine fever and diseased pigs, consumers are gradually becoming more "careful" when choosing to buy this product. Thanks to meeting the criteria of origin and quality, the Que Lam organic pork products at the store are chosen by many customers, and there are times when they are "out of stock", not enough quantity to serve the needs of the people.
“On average, our store sells about 2 pigs weighing 80-100kg per week, and 8-10 pigs per month. In the past month, people’s demand for clean pork and organic pork has increased. Therefore, we plan to increase the quantity to 3-4 pigs per week to meet consumption demand and increase sales,” said Mr. Ha.

Pork is a popular food, chosen by many people as the main dish in their daily meals. At stores selling clean pork and organic pork, the selling price usually ranges from 150,000 - 220,000 VND/kg, higher than in traditional markets (from 110,000 - 160,000 VND/kg), however, consumers still prioritize choosing to ensure quality.
Ms. Nguyen Mai Hoa (Tran Phu ward) shared: “Previously, I often bought meat in the style of “buying whatever happens”, but when I followed the information about African swine fever and sick pigs, I switched to buying at clean food stores, reputable addresses or supermarkets. The selling price here is higher, but the pork is quarantined so I feel very secure, and when eating, I can clearly feel the delicious, sweet taste of the meat”.

At the OCOP Center – CED Central (No. 2 Vu Quang Street, Thanh Sen Ward), the item “Baf vegetarian pork” (imported from BAF Vietnam Agricultural Joint Stock Company) is also always in a state of “out of stock”.
Ms. Phan Thi Dung - Director of the center shared: “Baf pork products aim for criteria such as: traceable origin; say no to growth stimulants, no banned antibiotic residues; do not use lean meat or coloring agents; clean, delicious, aromatic meat suitable for taste... On average, the store will sell 1 pork weighing about 70-80kg per day. This item is often "out of stock", products such as lean shoulder, ribs... often run out early. Currently, we are also planning to increase supply, connecting with schools in the area to provide clean, safe food".

Products such as ground pork, lean shoulder, belly... all recorded high purchasing power, in general, this item grew by 20-30% compared to previous months".

According to a survey, pork prices at organic pork stores, clean pork stores, and supermarkets in Ha Tinh are 20-40% higher than those at traditional markets, but consumption is still growing strongly. This shows that ensuring production and breeding; strict processing procedures, aiming at quality products will bring many positive results, building consumer trust, and improving production and business efficiency.
