To date, Tho Xuan district has more than 700 businesses operating in all sectors, creating jobs and stable income for 25,000 workers in the area.

JINYI JEWELRY Vietnam Co., Ltd., located in Tay Ho commune, specializes in producing high-end jewelry items such as bracelets, rings, earrings, necklaces, and bangles made of 18k and 24k gold-plated copper, exporting to the United States and China. Ms. Le Thi Nghia, Head of Human Resources at the company, stated: "Thanks to the support from the Tho Xuan district government in providing us with 23,000 square meters of land, the company was able to build and complete its factory, quickly commencing operations in October 2022. Currently, the company employs nearly 400 local workers, with incomes ranging from 6.5 to 7.5 million VND per person per month. In addition to ensuring a stable income for employees, the company also provides full and timely benefits."

Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh, from Hamlet 2, Xuan Son Commune, was among the first workers to join JINYI JEWELRY Vietnam Co., Ltd. when the company first started operating. According to her: "After my labor contract in Taiwan (China) expired, I returned home and didn't know what kind of job to look for. Fortunately, the company posted a job advertisement, so I decided to apply. With a monthly income of 7.5 million VND and working near home, I can better take care of my husband and children."

Xuan Hong is a newly merged commune at the end of 2019, with its economy primarily based on agricultural development. Therefore, to improve people's income, in addition to enhancing the value of agricultural production, the local authorities pay special attention to developing businesses, considering it a crucial task contributing to the promotion of local economic development and creating jobs and income for the people. In this spirit, the local authorities have reviewed and selected households with effective production and business activities, promoted and encouraged the establishment of businesses, and supported them in completing the necessary paperwork for business registration.

Speaking about business development in the area, Mr. Trinh Vinh Hop, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Xuan Hong commune, said: "With 82 businesses operating in the area, they have provided employment for thousands of local workers, with incomes ranging from 5 to 7 million VND per person per month. For large enterprises like Minh Anh Garment Joint Stock Company, the income for skilled workers can reach 12-13 million VND per person per month. The effectiveness of establishing businesses has contributed to reducing the local poverty rate to 2.32% in 2023."

It is known that developing businesses and creating jobs for workers is a crucial task in Tho Xuan district's socio-economic development. Besides issuing documents assigning targets for establishing businesses to communes and towns in the district, the district also promotes awareness among individual business owners and the business community about the benefits and rights of transitioning to operating under a business model. At the same time, it focuses on resolving difficulties and obstacles, supporting businesses in investment, production, and business activities, and reforming administrative procedures. In particular, the implementation of policies supporting businesses in terms of production and business premises, application of science and technology, and expansion of markets for goods has yielded clear results. Currently, the business community in the district is providing employment for more than 25,000 workers, with an average income ranging from 5 to 8 million VND per person per month, contributing to reducing the district's poverty rate to 1.47%.
