Along with reviewing the bilateral relationship over the past period, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Indian leaders analyzed and proposed directions for further deepening the Vietnam-India Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
In this context, both sides agreed to adopt a Joint Statement on Strengthening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with a focus on "five improvements": higher political and strategic trust; deeper defense and security cooperation; more substantive and effective economic, trade, and investment cooperation; broader cooperation in science and technology and innovation; and closer cooperation in culture, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges. They also proposed priorities to concretize these "five improvements."
During the visit, the two sides adopted the Action Program for the implementation of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership 2024-2028 and exchanged notes on Vietnam's accession to the Alliance for Resilient Infrastructure. They also adopted a Joint Statement on strengthening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, and the two Prime Ministers pressed the button to inaugurate the Military Software Park in Nha Trang.
Ministries, sectors, and agencies from both sides signed and exchanged nine cooperation documents in the fields of health, law and justice, diplomacy, human resource training, agricultural science, broadcasting, tourism, culture, and agriculture. Businesses from both countries also signed and exchanged 10 cooperation documents in the fields of infrastructure, logistics, aviation, tourism, culture, and pharmaceuticals.
