During his official visit to the Republic of Bulgaria from October 22-24, on the evening of October 23 (local time), General Secretary To Lam and his wife, along with the high-level Vietnamese delegation, visited the Bulgarian National History Museum, a special cultural landmark that preserves and honors the historical values, traditions, and identity of the Bulgarian people throughout thousands of years. Bulgarian President Rumen Radev and his wife were also present.

The General Secretary affirmed that Vietnam has always considered culture as the spiritual foundation of society, an important intrinsic strength ensuring the sustainable development of the country. Vietnam 's museum system, such as the National Historical Museum, the Museum of Ethnology, and the Hanoi Museum, is constantly being upgraded and modernized, aiming to combine preservation, education , and international exchange.
The General Secretary expressed his hope that in the future, the Bulgarian National History Museum and Vietnamese national museums will engage in professional exchanges, collaborative research, joint exhibitions, and, more importantly, promote understanding and friendship between the two nations and cultures of Asia and Europe, contributing to strengthening the bond between the two peoples and enriching the heritage of human civilization.
After visiting the Bulgarian National History Museum, General Secretary To Lam and his wife, along with President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev and his wife, watched an art performance featuring the renowned Bulgarian "Trakia" Art Troupe and Vietnamese artists. That evening, President Rumen Radev and his wife hosted an official reception for General Secretary To Lam and his wife and the high-level Vietnamese delegation.
Also on October 23 (local time), Mrs. Ngo Phuong Ly, wife of General Secretary To Lam, visited and interacted with children at Zvanche Kindergarten No. 2 in Sofia. Accompanying Mrs. Ngo Phuong Ly was Mrs. Desislava Radeva, wife of the President of Bulgaria.
