Ha Minh Tuan collided with a Dong Nai player.
In the 50th minute of the match between Da Nang FC and Dong Nai FC, striker Ha Minh Tuan collided in the air with Bui Ngoc Thinh of the visiting team. The striker, who once played for the Vietnamese national team under coach Park Hang Seo, lay motionless on the field.
Ha Minh Tuan's teammates immediately covered his mouth with their hands. The referee called the medical team onto the field to provide first aid. The match was temporarily stopped for more than 5 minutes while the doctors worked before an ambulance took Ha Minh Tuan to the hospital.
This match is part of Round 9 of the National First Division League. Before the match, Coach Truong Viet Hoang's team was leading the table with 20 points, while Dong Nai was in seventh place with 11 points.
