In the context of increasingly complex climate change and dwindling natural resources, "greening" production and consumption has become an inevitable trend.

In 2023, Vinamilk's "green" journey was highlighted through the announcement of its roadmap to achieve net zero emissions by 2050, with the action program "Vinamilk Pathway to Dairy Net Zero 2050".

From a business perspective, Le Thi Hong Nhi, Deputy General Director of Communications and External Affairs at Unilever Vietnam, shared that Unilever hopes the government will utilize environmental funds to invest in modern recycling technology and implement policies to encourage businesses to use recycled materials in their products and packaging.

According to Nguyen Thi Bich Huong, Head of Communications at the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (VINASME), VINASME is developing its own ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance Standards) criteria for small and medium-sized enterprises. Technology is key to realizing ESG goals.

In Hanoi, by the 2025-2026 school year, approximately 64% of junior high school graduates will be eligible to attend public high schools. The remaining students will be streamed into private schools, continuing education centers, or vocational schools and colleges to study both vocational skills and general education (referred to as the 9+ program).

According to Tran The Cuong, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, following the 2025-2026 10th grade entrance exam, the number of students and parents seeking advice at vocational schools and continuing education centers enrolling in the 9+ program has increased significantly. Statistics from vocational education institutions show that the employment rate for graduates of the 9+ program has exceeded 70% in recent years.

The Department of Education and Training continues to coordinate with junior high schools and communes/wards to organize early career guidance counseling to widely disseminate information about the 9+ program to students and parents of graduating junior high school students.

The Party Executive Committee of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, term 2025-2030, was introduced to the Congress on July 3.

Implementing the Central's directives and instructions, the Hanoi Party Committee has closely directed the organization of grassroots party congresses.

Head of the Hanoi Party Committee's Organization Board Ha Minh Hai said that preparations for the grassroots party congress in Hanoi were carried out proactively, methodically, and seriously according to Directive No. 45-CT/TU dated April 14, 2025 of the Politburo and Plan No. 329-KH/TU dated May 15, 2025 of the Hanoi Party Committee.

Personnel work at grassroots-level congresses was conducted democratically, openly, transparently, and in accordance with the procedures outlined in Directive No. 45-CT/TƯ and related regulations. The newly elected executive committees had a reasonable number and structure.

Despite the challenging circumstances of simultaneously reorganizing commune-level administrative units and establishing a two-tiered local government structure, the grassroots Party congresses under the Hanoi City Party Committee were successfully held, ensuring both progress and quality.

In recent days, singer Phuong My Chi has attracted attention on the international stage by participating in Sing!Asia. What makes Phuong My Chi stand out is the way she incorporates Vietnamese identity into each of her performances.

As for conductor Dong Quang Vinh, 10 years ago, he established the New Vitality Folk Orchestra to spread traditional music in modern life as well as introduce and promote Vietnamese music to the world.

The official release of the album "Ve Kinh Bac" on digital music platforms marks an important turning point in the journey of connecting heritage with the new era of Artist Ngo Hong Quang.

Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the first six months of 2025 increased by 7.52% compared to the same period last year, the highest rate for the first six months in the 2011-2025 period.

GDP growth in the second quarter of 2025 is projected to be positive, with an estimated growth rate of 7.96% compared to the same period last year, only slightly lower than the 8.56% growth rate of the second quarter of 2022 during the 2020-2025 period.

The main drivers of economic growth, in terms of production, are industry and market-based services. In terms of demand, investment has seen impressive growth, with overall social investment increasing by 9.8%, and registered foreign investment also reaching a significant figure of over 32% year-on-year, exceeding US$21.5 billion.

Director of the General Statistics Office (Ministry of Finance) Nguyen Thi Huong said that the economic growth target of over 8% in 2025 is a big challenge. To achieve it, it requires the joint efforts and consensus of all levels, sectors, businesses, people and the support and assistance of international friends.
