As reported by Tuoi Tre , Thien Long Group Corporation (TLG) has announced the transaction of Thien Long An Thinh Investment Joint Stock Company (TLAT), the largest shareholder owning 46.82% of the charter capital of this enterprise.
Accordingly, TLAT is in the process of negotiating, agreeing and signing a transaction to sell all shares to Kokuyo Group - a large Japanese enterprise in the field of stationery and office furniture.
In addition to this negotiation process, Kokuyo Group will publicly offer to buy an additional 18.19% of TLG shares in accordance with Vietnamese law, aiming to own up to 65.01% of TLG's charter capital.
Thien Long's revenue reaches thousands of billions each year
About Thien Long, this group was established in 1981, with Mr. Co Gia Tho as Chairman of the Board of Directors. This enterprise is considered the leading stationery brand in Vietnam with more than 1,000 products under brands such as Thien Long, FlexOffice, Colokit and Flexio. Currently, the enterprise produces and exports products to more than 74 countries.
Regarding the detailed business situation, the financial report recorded TLG's revenue in the third quarter of 2025 at VND 1,184 billion, an increase of 32% over the same period last year. Accumulated in the first 9 months of this year, revenue was VND 3,238 billion, an increase of nearly 11% over the same period.
Sales increased but the company's third quarter profit only reached over 75.7 billion VND, down 17% compared to the same period. The profit after tax for the first 9 months reached 375 billion VND, down nearly 11%.
According to Thien Long's explanation, revenue growth was thanks to the export market increasing by VND59 billion compared to the same period after the business adapted well and resolved difficulties in the first 6 months of the year in some key countries.
"With fierce competition from competitors in the same industry, aiming to proactively strengthen the distribution system and market share, Thien Long has invested heavily in sales activities and increased demand stimulation activities in the third quarter of 2025," said a business representative.
For this reason, Thien Long's selling costs in the domestic market increased compared to the same period, leading to a decrease in profits.
Looking at Thien Long's business results data from 2006 to present, it can be seen that this enterprise has maintained continuous growth, except for the time when the COVID-19 pandemic broke out.
Then, by 2022, the business will regain growth momentum and set a record revenue and profit in 2024 with results of VND 3,772 billion and VND 460 billion, respectively.

Thien Long said they expect "the participation of a prestigious international partner from Japan, Kokuyo, will help TLG expand cooperation space in the fields of research, design, and product enhancement at home and abroad, in line with TLG's strategic orientation of globalization."
