Nghe An Provincial Party Committee issued a Decision to establish the Vinh City Party Committee (new)

On December 9th, the Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Duc Trung, signed Decision No. 3025-QD/TU on the establishment of the (new) Vinh City Party Committee based on the merger of 77 grassroots party organizations under the Vinh City Party Committee, 48 grassroots party organizations under the Cua Lo Town Party Committee, and 7 grassroots party organizations under the Nghi Loc District Party Committee.

Accordingly, at the time of the merger, the Vinh City Party Committee (new) had 132 affiliated grassroots party organizations, including 54 grassroots party committees, 78 grassroots party branches, and 847 party branches directly under grassroots party committees, with 31,238 party members (List attached).

The term of office for the (new) Vinh City Party Committee is 2020-2025. The (new) Vinh City Party Committee officially commenced operations on January 1, 2025.

The Party Committee of Cua Lo town ceased operations on December 31, 2024.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee is tasked with deciding on the appointment of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, and Deputy Secretary of the Vinh City Party Committee (new) for the 2020-2025 term; nominating candidates for the positions of Chairman of the People's Council, Chairman of the People's Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Council, and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh City (new) for the 2021-2026 term; and leading and directing the election of the Inspection Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee, and Vice Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Vinh City Party Committee (new) for the 2020-2025 term in accordance with the Party Charter and the Central Committee's regulations and guidelines on the implementation of the Party Charter.

The newly established Vinh City Party Committee is tasked with leading and directing the consolidation, merger, establishment, and dissolution of grassroots Party organizations, agencies, and subordinate units, as well as consolidating the staff of cadres, civil servants, and public employees in accordance with current regulations and guidelines of the Party and State. It is also responsible for leading and directing the timely development and promulgation of working regulations to ensure smooth operation.

The Party Committees of Vinh City, Cua Lo Town, and Nghi Loc District; the advisory and support agencies of the Provincial Party Committee; and other relevant agencies and units are responsible for implementing this Decision.
