"Meeting Vietnam" organization awarded 209 Vallet scholarships to students in Thua Thien Hue

On August 31st, the "Meeting Vietnam" organization awarded 209 Vallet scholarships to 148 high school students and 61 university students who achieved excellent academic results in Thua Thien Hue province, totaling nearly 4 billion VND.

In 2024, the "Meeting Vietnam" organization awarded 209 Vallet scholarships in Thua Thien Hue province, totaling nearly 4 billion VND. This included 148 high school students, each receiving a scholarship worth 15 million VND, totaling over 2.2 billion VND. Additionally, 61 university students each received a scholarship worth 29 million VND, totaling nearly 1.8 billion VND.

This is the 24th year that the Vietnam Meeting Organization has awarded Vallet scholarships to Vietnamese students. The scholarships provide them with additional motivation to advance further in their studies and realize their passion for science . Notably, the scholarship amount and value have increased annually to help cover the living and study expenses of each student.

According to Phan Quy Phuong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province, these scholarships will provide timely and convenient support to help students pay tuition fees, purchase books and school supplies for the new school year. At the same time, they will empower students on their path of learning and self-improvement, continuing their journey of spreading kindness and compassion, making our lives even more beautiful.

Over the past 25 years (1999-2024), the Vallet Scholarship Fund and the "Meeting Vietnam" Organization have awarded more than 50,000 scholarships to outstanding students nationwide, totaling 500 billion VND. In Thua Thien Hue province alone, 4,500 scholarships worth over 50 billion VND have been awarded.

Thanks to these valuable scholarships, many students in Thua Thien Hue in particular and the whole country in general have excelled in their studies and training, fulfilled their educational dreams, graduated from university, and become doctors, engineers, and scientists in many fields…
