Organizing training courses to foster ethnic knowledge in 2023

The Provincial Border Guard Command has just held the opening ceremony of the 2023 training course on ethnic knowledge in the Provincial Border Guard. The training was attended by 50 officers working in the locality of the agency and grassroots units in the Provincial Border Guard. Colonel Dinh Van Sau, Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard, and Mr. Nguyen Minh Tan, Head of the Provincial Ethnic Minorities Committee attended the opening ceremony.

Through the training program, the reporters and trainees researched and exchanged 7 topics related to ethnic groups and ethnic work; viewpoints, policies, guidelines and policies of our Party and State; national defense and security work in ethnic minority areas and the national target program for socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021 - 2030, phase I: From 2021 - 2025.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Tan, Head of the Ethnic Minorities Committee of Binh Thuan province, gave an overview of the ethnic situation and ethnic work of Binh Thuan province.

This is an opportunity to foster and update ethnic knowledge, exchange experiences and improve skills in handling situations related to ethnic issues for the staff working in the locality at the grassroots units in the Provincial Border Guard; actively contribute to participating with the locality in socio-economic development, especially in border areas, remote areas, ethnic minority areas; strengthen the great national unity bloc to meet the requirements and tasks of protecting sovereignty and security in the maritime border area in the new situation.
