Successfully organized the Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Yen Thang commune, term 2024 - 2029

On the morning of January 12, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Yen Thang commune (Yen Mo district) held the Congress of delegates for the 2024-2029 term. This is the unit selected by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Yen Mo district to organize the model congress at the commune level.

During the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune has focused on innovating the content and methods of operation, successfully implementing the targets set out in the Resolution of the Congress. The campaigns and emulation movements have been deployed with focus and key points, strongly arousing the spirit of emulation and creative labor of the people to participate in economic development, solve social problems, build new rural areas, and sustainably reduce poverty.

Notably, the Fatherland Front and its member organizations have mobilized the people to donate nearly 7,000 square meters of land, more than 3,600 working days, contribute and self-invest nearly 45 billion VND to build traffic works, upgrade and renovate village cultural houses, lighting lines, plant flowers and trees, etc.

Mobilized over 500 million VND to support flood victims in the Central region and the work of preventing and fighting the COVID-19 pandemic; coordinated to upgrade, repair and renovate 17 houses for meritorious, poor, near-poor and policy households with an amount of nearly 900 million VND. The campaign to practice civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals and festivals received positive response. 100% of villages have cultural houses; over 95% of households achieved and maintained the title of cultural family...

For the 2024-2029 term, the Congress proposed 6 key action programs: Strengthening propaganda, mobilization, gathering people of all walks of life, strengthening social consensus, promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc; improving the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism, promoting democracy, participating in Party and State building; mobilizing people of all walks of life to compete, be creative, effectively carry out campaigns and emulation movements; improving people's foreign affairs activities and work with overseas Vietnamese; continuing to innovate the organizational apparatus, improving the capacity of the Front's cadres at all levels; building a united, consensual, safe, prosperous and happy residential area.

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development", the Congress consulted and elected 35 members to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Yen Thang commune for the 2024-2029 term and elected an official delegation to attend the Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front of Yen Mo district for the 2024-2029 term.
