On October 10, 2025, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism signed and issued Decision No. 3597/QD-BVHTTDL on organizing the Photo Exhibition "Colors of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups."

This activity is part of the National Target Program for Socio -Economic Development of Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas by 2025, demonstrating the deep concern of the Party and State for the preservation and promotion of the diverse cultural values ​​of the Vietnamese people. At the request of the Director of the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has officially decided to organize this meaningful exhibition.

The exhibition "Colors of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups" sets out core goals, including improving the quality of cultural life, preserving and promoting traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic minorities and mountainous areas.

At the same time, the exhibition also focuses on improving cultural enjoyment for all people, especially ethnic minorities with very small populations, creating opportunities to access good cultural values.

Completing the National Photo Collection: Building a beautiful, typical and unique photo collection of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups, effectively serving the work of introducing, propagating and promoting the image of the country and people of Vietnam during festivals, major events, cultural and artistic exchange activities domestically and internationally.

Create conditions for domestic audiences and international friends to enjoy works of art, and at the same time deeply understand the culture, life and people of Vietnamese ethnic groups, thereby enhancing understanding, solidarity and cooperation.

The exhibition will display photographic works of high quality in content and artistic form, vividly introducing the unique and distinctive cultural features in the life, living habits, traditional costumes, religious activities, festivals... of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam.

The exhibition is expected to display about 250 works, including 200 works selected by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism , and 50 works about ethnic groups in Khanh Hoa province selected by Khanh Hoa province.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requires that the organization of the exhibition must be carefully and effectively prepared, ensuring close coordination between agencies and units. In particular, it is necessary to promote the value of the photo collection, strengthen propaganda and promotion of the culture of Vietnamese ethnic groups to the masses, from urban to remote areas.

The photo exhibition "Colors of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups" is an important cultural event, demonstrating the commitment of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in preserving, promoting and promoting the country's rich cultural heritage. To continue and promote the value of propaganda and promotion, after the end of the exhibition period, the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition will hand over the photo collection to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa.

Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will continue to hold exhibitions in the locality and neighboring provinces, contributing to further spreading the cultural beauty of Vietnamese ethnic groups.

The event is expected to open and be displayed in mid-November 2025 in Khanh Hoa province and then in neighboring provinces; The online exhibition will take place on the Internet platform from November 2025./.
