According to information from the provincial Center for Disease Control, since the beginning of the year, the whole province has recorded 1,741 people exposed to rabies, an increase of more than 400 cases compared to the first 6 months of 2024. The exposed cases have been vaccinated against rabies and 388 cases have also been injected with anti-rabies serum.

Of these, 278 poor people were vaccinated against rabies for free; 34 poor people were injected with anti-rabies serum for free.
