(NLDO) – The price of SJC gold bars and gold rings fluctuates in opposite directions compared to the world , some places have sharply reduced the selling price of 99.99 gold rings.

On the evening of December 12, the price of SJC gold bars was listed by SJC Gold Company at 84.6 million VND/tael for buying and 87.1 million VND/tael for selling, down 200,000 VND/tael compared to the morning. However, if calculated over the past 2 days, the price of gold bars still increased sharply by nearly 2 million VND/tael.

This is also the gold bar transaction price at PNJ and DOJI companies.

Meanwhile, Mi Hong Company suddenly reduced the price of SJC gold bars to only 84.6 million VND/tael for buying and 85.8 million VND/tael for selling, more than 1 million VND/tael lower than other units.

Eximbank andACB sell SJC gold bars at around 87 million VND/tael, and buy at a higher price than other units, around 85.4 million VND/tael.

Gold bar prices vary between units in the context of strong fluctuations in the world.

Similarly, the price of gold rings and jewelry of all kinds also "surged". SJC Gold Company traded plain gold rings at 84.5 million VND/tael for purchase and 85.9 million VND/tael for sale.

PNJ and DOJI companies also sold plain gold rings for 85.9 million VND/tael, while Mi Hong suddenly sharply reduced the selling price of 99.99 gold rings to only 85.1 million VND/tael, and the buying price was 84.4 million VND/tael.

Domestic gold prices fluctuated strongly while world prices at times reached 2,724 USD/ounce, reaching the highest level in about 9 weeks before cooling down again.

At 6:00 p.m. Vietnam time, the world gold price was at 2,709 USD/ounce, up about 5 USD/ounce compared to this morning.

Precious metals on the international market have recovered strongly after a decline. Compared to the all-time historical peak of 2,790 USD/ounce, the current gold price is only about 80 USD/ounce. Since the beginning of the year, the gold price has increased by 40%.

According to analysts, gold prices are benefiting from the newly released US CPI data showing an increase of about 2.7% in line with market expectations. As a result, the US Federal Reserve (FED) may cut interest rates at its upcoming policy meeting, which will support gold prices to continue to rise.

Currently, the world gold price converted at the listed exchange rate is more than 83 million VND/tael.
