On January 15, Hanoi started construction of the first phase of Dang Thai Mai Street in Quang An Ward, Tay Ho District. The project has a total investment of more than 552 billion VND.


Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were General Secretary To Lam; Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh ; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office Nguyen Duy Ngoc; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Party Central Committee's External Relations Commission Le Hoai Trung; members of the Party Central Committee, leaders of ministries, departments and branches of the Central Government and Hanoi.

General Secretary To Lam and delegates performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the Dang Thai Mai road project.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, the leader of Tay Ho district said: The project to build Dang Thai Mai road - phase I was approved by the People's Committee of Tay Ho district in Decision No. 1434 with a total investment of more than 552 billion VND. Of which, the cost of site clearance is more than 391 billion VND, the construction cost is nearly 83 billion VND.

The project has a total route length of 1,260m; the starting point of the project is from Tay Ho villa area, the end point of the project is at the intersection with Xuan Dieu street; the road surface is 30m wide, the sidewalks on both sides are 12m wide, the landscape axis is 51.6m wide; The section through Tay Ho villa area is 20.5m wide, the road surface is 11.25m wide, the sidewalks on both sides are 4.625m wide...

The project has a total land area of ​​36,482.5 square meters; the total number of households, individuals and organizations is expected to be 183 cases; the total number of resettlement cases is 49 houses.

It is known that the project to build Dang Thai Mai route, phase 1, is implemented according to the orientation of the Hanoi Capital Master Plan approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1668.

Accordingly, the capital Hanoi is oriented to develop with 5 important spatial axes, including: Red River axis, West Lake - Ba Vi axis, West Lake - Co Loa axis, Nhat Tan - Noi Bai axis and South Hanoi axis.

In particular, Dang Thai Mai route is the axis connecting historical urban heritage, synchronously combining the connecting space of West Lake - Tu Lien Bridge - Co Loa; directly connecting with the area north of the Red River - Dong Anh city, the center of services, finance, technology and innovation.

According to the Detailed Planning Project of the central spatial axis of Quang An peninsula, scale 1/500 approved by Hanoi People's Committee in Decision No. 6132, the central spatial axis of the peninsula is built on the basis of Dang Thai Mai street, the structure includes two traffic routes on both sides (each route has 4 lanes) and a green landscape strip in the middle.
