According to the special correspondent of the Vietnam News Agency, within the framework of the State visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and attending the ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea (October 10, 1945 - October 10, 2025), at noon on October 10 local time, General Secretary To Lam and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation went to the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun to lay flowers in memory of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Next, General Secretary To Lam and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation visited the Gallery of relics of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il. Here, General Secretary To Lam wrote in the Guest Book: The high-ranking delegation of the Party and State of Vietnam was deeply moved to visit the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, the eternal resting place of the two great leaders of the Korean people: President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il, close friends and comrades of the Party, State and people of Vietnam. During their lifetime, President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il devoted their whole lives to the independence, freedom and socialism of the Korean people and country, laying the foundation for building and developing the relationship and solidarity between the Korean and Vietnamese people.

General Secretary To Lam expressed his gratitude and remembered the great contributions of the Party, State and people of the DPRK under the leadership of previous leaders such as President Kim Il Sung, General Secretary Kim Jong Il and today General Secretary and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK Kim Jong Un to the Party, State and people of Vietnam in the cause of protecting, building and developing the country; vowed to do his best to continue developing the Vietnam-DPRK cooperative, solidarity and development relationship to meet the national interests and the rich, prosperous and prosperous life of the people of the two countries, for peace and stability in the region and the world.

Kumsusan Palace of the Sun is located in the capital city of Pyongyang. Initially, this building was used as the office of President Kim Il Sung. After President Kim Il Sung passed away, the building was renovated and converted into a memorial place, preserving the body of President Kim Il Sung and began to open to the public to visit since 1995. After General Secretary Kim Jong Il passed away, his body was also placed here.

The project has a large scale, wide facade, high palace-style roof, surrounded by gardens, lakes, and monuments. The internal structure includes many halls, corridors, exhibition areas for souvenirs and memorial areas. In the exhibition area, there is a room displaying medals and awards from various countries. Many images and artifacts are associated with the activities and lives of the two leaders during their lifetime, such as cars, trains, ships, etc.

On the same afternoon, General Secretary To Lam and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation went to Wanjingtai to visit the hometown of President Kim Il-sung. The house where President Kim Il-sung was born and raised is preserved intact, with traditional Korean folk architecture with wooden materials, thatched roof, solid and simple structure. The house displays photos of President Kim Il-sung's grandparents, parents and siblings along with household items such as wood stoves, cooking utensils, and agricultural tools, reflecting the simple life but rich in patriotic and revolutionary traditions of President Kim Il-sung's family.

Also on the afternoon of October 10 local time, General Secretary To Lam and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation visited the Museum of Juju Music Art Development, which comprehensively and visually presents the historical development process of Korean revolutionary music art.

Here, General Secretary To Lam wrote in the Guest Book to express his admiration for the understanding, musical talent as well as the interest in culture and music of the North Korean leaders. Culture - Music is the source of strength, can overcome all difficulties and hardships to win and achieve total victory. Culture - Music is also the enjoyment of the people, all people can live in peace, enjoy the most civilized things of humanity.

General Secretary To Lam wished the country and people of North Korea to continue to develop prosperously and happily as generations of North Korean leaders have directed and built from their hearts and understanding./.
