Summary of union work in 2024

On December 30th, the Provincial Federation of Labor (LĐLĐ) held its Sixth Executive Committee meeting for the 2023-2028 term, summarizing trade union work in 2024 and outlining key tasks for 2025.

The leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor Unions presented the Emulation Flag of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to outstanding units in the workers' movement and trade union activities.

In 2024, trade unions at all levels in the province successfully implemented and exceeded the set targets and tasks. The role of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers was focused on. Activities aimed at caring for the practical interests of union members and workers were implemented with many new and practical contents and activities.

Trade union levels coordinated inspections and monitoring of the implementation of policies and regulations related to workers in 364 units and enterprises. 1,252 public administrative and non-business units organized conferences for civil servants and public employees; 433 non-state units and enterprises (with trade union organizations) organized conferences for workers; and 454 non-state units and enterprises (with trade union organizations) organized workplace dialogues. 142 collective bargaining agreements were amended, supplemented, re-signed, or newly signed to be more favorable to workers than the provisions of the law.

The leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor Unions presented the "For the Cause of Building the Trade Union Organization" commemorative medal to individuals.

In 2025, with the theme "Focus on developing union membership; participating in building a clean and strong Party," trade unions at all levels in the province will continue to innovate the content and methods of their activities, effectively fulfilling their function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers. The goal is to develop 13,000 or more union members; establish 31 grassroots trade unions in non-state enterprises that regularly employ 20 or more workers and operate stably; 100% of higher-level trade unions and 85% of grassroots trade unions will be rated as having completed their tasks well or better; 100% of higher-level trade unions will have at least one project or product celebrating the Party Congress at all levels that is recognized at the district level or higher; and 1,730 outstanding union members will be recommended to the Party for consideration, training, and admission into the Communist Party of Vietnam ...

The leaders of the Provincial Labor Union awarded the first prize in the 2024 Phu Tho Provincial Labor Union Activities Video and Clip Communication Product Competition to the Teijin Frontier Shonai Co., Ltd. Trade Union.

At the conference, many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in emulation movements and trade union activities in 2024 were awarded. In addition, the Organizing Committee of the competition for creating video and clip-based media products about trade union activities in Phu Tho province in 2024 awarded 1 first prize, 3 second prizes, 5 third prizes, and 10 consolation prizes to outstanding authors and works participating in the competition.

Leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor Unions and representatives of the emulation clusters signed an emulation agreement for 2025.

Also at the conference, the Provincial Federation of Labor Unions launched an emulation movement and organized the signing of an emulation agreement for 2025.
