All staff of the Consulate General, the Vietnam Trade Promotion Office in Hangzhou, the Vietnam Airlines Branch in China, along with representatives of the Vietnamese community and overseas students in Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang respectfully offered incense and observed a minute of silence to commemorate and bid farewell to former President Tran Duc Luong.

On May 24-25, the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, the Government, the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and the Shanghai People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries sent wreaths to pay tribute to former Politburo member and former President Tran Duc Luong.
