The forces have evacuated more than 7,200 households with nearly 24,000 people to safety; distributed nearly 10 tons of dry food, thousands of boxes of instant noodles, more than 76,000 bottles of water, 12,000 boxed meals, milk and canned meat to people in deep flooded areas. The Military Region's engineering units coordinated with local authorities to overcome 40 landslides, opened many roads, helping people restore production and soon stabilize their lives.

At the conference, Lieutenant General Le Ngoc Hai highly appreciated the spirit of initiative and dedication of the soldiers in the entire Military Region. In any situation, the armed forces of the Military Region must be the force that arrives first and leaves last, not letting people go hungry or cold, not letting anyone be left behind.
