Total revenue from tourism activities during the September 2nd holiday reached 160 billion VND

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, on the occasion of National Day September 2, 2025 (from August 30, 2025 to September 2, 2025), Dak Lak is expected to welcome over 90,000 visitors for sightseeing and relaxation; including about 1,000 international visitors.

The total number of guests staying is estimated at 44,000. Total revenue from tourists is estimated at 160 billion VND, of which accommodation revenue is estimated at 28.5 billion VND; the average room occupancy rate of the whole province is 55% (in particular, hotels and homestays near the sea have room occupancy rates of 80-100%).

Special art program "Pride Melody" serves tourists.

The East of Dak Lak province is estimated to welcome 60,000 visitors for sightseeing and relaxation, an increase of 29% over the same period in 2024; including about 700 international visitors, an increase of 34.6% over the same period last year. The total number of guests staying is estimated at 34,000, an increase of 22.7% over the same period last year; including 500 international visitors, an increase of 31.5% over the same period last year. Total revenue from tourists is estimated at 134 billion VND, an increase of 44% over the same period last year, of which accommodation revenue is estimated at 22 billion VND, an increase of 32.5% over the same period last year.

The activities that attract a large number of tourists during the September 2 holiday are the Dak Lak Culture, Tourism and Cuisine Week 2025 along with two special art programs celebrating the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) taking place at Nghinh Phong Square (Tuy Hoa Ward) with the theme "Thousand Waves" and the special art program "Proud Melody" taking place at the Provincial Cultural - Information Center.

Also according to the assessment of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, during the National Day holiday on September 2, tourism activities took place safely, security and order, fire prevention and fighting were ensured. Food safety and hygiene, environmental sanitation at tourist areas and spots were paid attention to, safe, hygienic, no incidents or unexpected situations occurred.
