Ho Chi Minh City will organize the first "National Unity" running race in 2025.

(NLDO) - The first "Great National Unity" running race in 2025 will be organized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

The Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has just announced the conclusions of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on the policy of organizing activities to celebrate the successful conclusion of the First Congress of the City Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030; the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and political and social organizations at all levels, in conjunction with the 95th anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025).

Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee basically agreed on the principle of organizing activities to celebrate the successful conclusion of the First Congress of the City Party Committee, term 2025-2030; the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and political and social organizations at all levels; and the first "National Unity" running race in 2025, in conjunction with the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's traditional day, as reported and proposed by the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City.

The City Party Committee led the City People's Committee to direct departments and branches to create favorable conditions and arrange funding for the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to successfully organize the first "Great National Unity" Running Race in 2025.

The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee assigned members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, members of the City Party Executive Committee, and heads of city departments and branches to attend the 2025 National Great Unity Day in localities and city-level activities.

The Party Committees of communes, wards, and special zones shall lead and direct the meticulous organization of the "National Unity Day" in residential areas in 2025; direct the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at the same level to proactively coordinate with relevant agencies assigned to attend the Day in the locality to agree on the location, content, program, and specific conditions to facilitate the participation of city leaders; and at the same time, inform the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city of the specific schedule.

The Party Committee and leadership of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City will preside over and coordinate with political and social organizations in the city and relevant departments and agencies to develop a specific plan; organize practical, economical, and effective activities, promoting the strength of the great national unity. In addition, they will guide communes, wards, and special zones to successfully organize the "National Unity Day" on November 18, 2025.
