Thanh Hoa City announces decisions regarding officials and civil servants retiring according to Government Decree 178.

On the afternoon of February 28th, the Standing Committee of the Thanh Hoa City Party Committee held a conference to announce the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Thanh Hoa City Party Standing Committee regarding cadres and civil servants retiring early according to Government Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP. Attending the conference was Comrade Le Anh Xuan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of the Thanh Hoa City People's Council.

Comrade Le Anh Xuan, Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the City People's Council, presented the Decisions to the City Party Committee leaders who retired early.

At the conference, Ms. Pham Thi Viet Nga, Head of the Organization Department of the Thanh Hoa City Party Committee, announced the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee regarding early retirement in accordance with Government Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP, effective from March 1, 2025, for Mr. Le Anh Tuan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Mr. Le Thanh Hai, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee.

Accordingly, the following comrades were present: Le Anh Nga, Standing Deputy Head of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Nguyen Thi Tam, Deputy Head of the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Le Trong Giang, President of the City Federation of Labor; Nguyen Thi Hong, Deputy Chief Inspector of the city; Nguyen Huu Dai, Deputy Head of the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Bui Thi Cuc, Director of the City's Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center; Nguyen Huu Hoa, Deputy Director of the City's Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center; Hoang Van Tho, specialist in the City Party Committee's Organization Department; Nguyen Nam Tien, specialist in the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; and Nguyen Ngoc Dung, member of the City Federation of Labor.

Comrade Le Anh Xuan, Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the City People's Council of Thanh Hoa, delivered a speech at the conference.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Le Anh Xuan, Secretary of the Thanh Hoa City Party Committee and Chairman of the City People's Council, emphasized: In the past period, with very high determination and great efforts, the city has seriously implemented the Central Government's directive on restructuring and streamlining the organizational apparatus of the political system to operate effectively, efficiently, and effectively according to Resolution 18-NQ/TW of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam. To date, the city has 42 leading officials and civil servants who have voluntarily requested early retirement according to Government Decrees 177/2024-ND/CP and 178/2024-ND/CP.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, the Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the City People's Council acknowledged, commended, and highly appreciated the positive contributions of the officials and civil servants to the development of the city throughout their careers. Their proactive and voluntary request for early retirement demonstrates exemplary conduct, responsibility, and strong agreement with the major policies of the Party and the State.
