This morning, January 15th, in Lia commune, Huong Hoa district, the Quang Tri Provincial Women's Union organized the "Tet of Love - Spring of the Year of the Snake 2025" program, giving gifts to poor and disadvantaged women members in A Doi and Lia communes.

At the event, the organizers presented 122 Tet (Lunar New Year) gift packages, including 20 for women in A Doi commune, 90 for women in Lia commune, and 12 for female officials in the two communes. Each gift package included essential items for Tet, valued at 400,000 VND, with a total value of nearly 49 million VND.
Within the framework of the program, the Provincial Women's Union also presented a "Safe Village for Women and Children" model in Lia commune, worth 10 million VND.
Deeply moved to receive the gift from the program, Ms. Ho Thi Kham, from A Xoi Hang village, Lia commune, said: “I am very grateful to receive this meaningful gift from the Provincial Women's Union. This gift will help make the upcoming Tet holiday more complete for my family.”
On the same day, the Provincial Women's Union also visited and presented 10 gifts, each worth 400,000 VND, to orphaned and disadvantaged children in Dakrong district. These practical gifts will help motivate the children to overcome difficulties and excel in their studies.
As part of the "Tet of Love - Spring of the Year of the Snake 2025" program, the Provincial Women's Union previously presented 50 gifts to disadvantaged women members in three communes: Vinh O, Vinh Khe, and Vinh Ha in Vinh Linh district.
