Continuing the meaningful activities of the "Quang Tri Newspaper's Compassionate Embrace" program, within the framework of the charity trip, reporters and members of the Quang Tri Newspaper Youth Union connected with and shared information about the difficult circumstances of three Van Kieu ethnic minority children in Huc Thuong village, Huc commune: Ho Thi Lan, Ho Thi Nhan, and Ho Thi Ngan (whose father, Ho A Dinh, 54 years old, has declining health, poor eyesight, and is unable to work due to a large tumor on the top of his head, and whose mother, Ho Thi Hoat, 46 years old, is not mentally sharp). Their plight was featured in the newspaper's "Addresses in Need of Help" section and received support from many benevolent individuals, totaling 13.8 million VND along with essential necessities.

On this occasion, a generous individual also sponsored the children with 300,000 VND per month for 12 months. Simultaneously, they launched a fundraising campaign to build a new house or repair the existing one to make the family's home more sturdy.
