On November 6th and 7th, the Dong Hung charity group from Di An, Binh Duong , and the Quang Tri Newspaper Youth Union, in coordination with local authorities, organized the "Towards the Beloved Central Region" program, distributing gifts to people and students in the communes of Huc (Huong Hoa district), Vinh O (Vinh Linh district), and Hai Lam (Hai Lang district).

In Huc commune, the delegation presented 102 gift packages containing essential goods and cash to all households and preschool children in the two villages of Ta Cu and Ho Le, with a total value of over 65 million VND. They also visited and presented 22 gift packages, each containing candy, milk, and 100,000 VND in cash, to students at Huc Van school (Huc Preschool).

In Vinh O commune, the delegation presented 122 gift packages containing essential necessities worth a total of 61 million VND to 122 households in the area. They also donated 151 packages of milk, biscuits, candy, and water bottles worth nearly 10 million VND; and 50 sets of blankets and pillows worth 8.2 million VND to students at Vinh O Primary School. On this occasion, the delegation also presented 100 gift packages to flood-affected residents in Mai Dan village, Hai Lam commune, Hai Lang district.

Continuing the meaningful activities of the "Quang Tri Newspaper's Compassionate Embrace" program, within the framework of the charity trip, reporters and members of the Quang Tri Newspaper Youth Union connected with and shared information about the difficult circumstances of three Van Kieu ethnic minority children in Huc Thuong village, Huc commune: Ho Thi Lan, Ho Thi Nhan, and Ho Thi Ngan (whose father, Ho A Dinh, 54 years old, has declining health, poor eyesight, and is unable to work due to a large tumor on the top of his head, and whose mother, Ho Thi Hoat, 46 years old, is not mentally sharp). Their plight was featured in the newspaper's "Addresses in Need of Help" section and received support from many benevolent individuals, totaling 13.8 million VND along with essential necessities.
On this occasion, a generous individual also sponsored the children with 300,000 VND per month for 12 months. Simultaneously, they launched a fundraising campaign to build a new house or repair the existing one to make the family's home more sturdy.
