Regarding roads, the Vietnam Road Administration is responsible for guiding and urging the Department of Construction of provinces and cities to direct transport businesses and bus stations to publicly, transparently and in accordance with regulations on transport fares, prices and service fees at bus stations.
Passenger transport business units have appropriate transport organization plans, carry the correct permitted load, the correct number of people according to regulations, ensure capacity and quality of transport services; strictly check the safety conditions of vehicles and drivers before departure, and require passengers to wear seat belts when being transported on vehicles.
The Vietnam Road Administration is also responsible for coordinating with relevant agencies and local authorities to strengthen the management of transport business activities; handle the situation of "illegal buses, illegal stations", overloaded vehicles; prevent the risk of fire, explosion, and terrorism that may occur in crowded areas such as bus stations and on means of transport.
Also on this occasion, road management areas and BOT investors develop plans to ensure security and order, traffic flow at toll stations, promptly handle and clear vehicles to limit congestion before entering the stations.
Regarding the aviation industry, the Ministry of Construction requested the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam to strengthen flight safety control; closely coordinate with localities to organize traffic flow and reduce traffic congestion on roads around airport areas, especially at Tan Son Nhat International Airport and Noi Bai International Airport.
Airlines also need to implement plans to increase flights during peak days, arrange night flights; operate flight schedules to minimize delays and cancellations, especially during holidays; list, announce, and publicize ticket prices and fares according to regulations.
In the maritime and waterway sectors, the Vietnam Maritime Administration is responsible for directing port authorities to promptly take measures to ensure safety on coastal transport routes, passenger transport vehicles from shore to islands, and tourist boats; ensure life-saving equipment and carry the correct number of people as prescribed; suspend the operation of illegal ferry terminals and passenger transport vehicles that do not meet safety standards.
Vietnam Railways Corporation has implemented a plan to increase train frequency on main routes such as Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi - Da Nang, Saigon - Da Nang; reduce ticket prices for policy beneficiaries; improve service quality; handle ticket touts and illegal ticket sales...
The Ministry of Construction also requested units to widely publicize on mass media hotline numbers to receive people's feedback on transportation work, traffic order and safety; promptly direct and coordinate with competent agencies to resolve and overcome incidents and accidents that occur.
