Timely information, propaganda, and orientation of ideology and public opinion on important political events, new, complex, and sensitive developments, creating high unity in awareness and action for soldiers, especially new soldiers, forces performing difficult and arduous tasks. The work of the Army's rear policy, attention to the material and spiritual life of officers and soldiers is highly valued by agencies and units, contributing to helping soldiers feel secure, excited, and successfully complete assigned tasks.

The conference was organized in a combined in-person and online format connecting from the Command Center bridge with 46 bridges in the entire General Department.

At the conference, delegates analyzed in depth and clarified the achieved results, pointed out the limitations and causes of the limitations; proposed solutions and measures in leadership and direction to overcome the limitations pointed out. The conference also identified a number of key tasks in ideological management and discipline in the General Department in the coming time.

To improve the quality of ideological management and discipline, in his concluding remarks at the conference, Lieutenant General Do Van Thien requested: Party committees and commanders of agencies and units to focus on innovating and improving the quality of political education , ideological management and discipline. Effectively implement decentralization in forecasting, grasping, managing, evaluating and orienting, and effectively resolving soldiers' ideology. Strictly maintain regular and disciplined regimes, manage troops, manage weapons and equipment, especially units receiving and training new soldiers; strengthen military personnel management, grasp the situation of the unit to have measures to effectively resolve and prevent possible conflicts; regularly review, promptly detect and prevent acts showing signs of violations.

Lieutenant General Do Van Thien requested that the monitoring, grasping, and assessment of the ideological situation of agencies and units must be organized regularly; coordination between units, families, and localities must be done well to closely and comprehensively manage soldiers both during and outside working hours. Proactively grasp and resolve conflicts and arising ideas, effectively prevent and stop serious disciplinary violations; strengthen internal solidarity and solidarity between the army and the people. Along with that, agencies and units must strengthen dissemination, education, raise awareness, responsibility, traffic culture, and self-consciousness in complying with the law on road traffic order and safety for all soldiers. Implement well the policy work for the Army and the Army's rear, creating peace of mind and trust for soldiers in the process of performing their duties.
