Stealing a car in Ba Ria-Vung Tau, caught in Da Nang while on the way to sell

Pham Van Diep stole a car in Ba Ria-Vung Tau and was arrested by authorities while driving to Hai Phong to sell.

On January 9, at Km130 of the Da Nang - Quang Ngai Expressway (Quang Ngai province), Traffic Police Team No. 2 of the Highway Traffic Patrol Team, Traffic Police Department discovered and arrested a car thief traveling from Ba Ria-Vung Tau to Da Nang.

Previously, at around 8:00 a.m. the same day, Traffic Police Team No. 2 discovered a truck with license plate 72C-141.75 traveling from Quang Ngai to Da Nang with suspicious signs, so they signaled the vehicle to stop, but the subject continued to flee.

Immediately, the task force pursued the vehicle, but the driver deliberately swerved and drove into the emergency lane, endangering the traffic police and other vehicles.

Evidence of the case

The working group deployed forces to pick up the subject at Tuy Loan toll station (Hoa Tien commune, Hoa Vang district), and brought the person and vehicle to the headquarters for work.

Initial verification revealed that the driver was named Pham Van Diep (born in 1989, permanent resident of Hai Phong). He stated that he was driving the car to Hai Phong to sell.

The case is under further investigation and clarification.
