Solemnly celebrating the 55th anniversary of implementing President Ho Chi Minh's Testament and the 65th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to Ninh Binh

Also attending were former Standing members of the Provincial Party Committee; members and former members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; leaders and former leaders of the Provincial People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee; leaders of provincial departments, branches, sectors, and organizations; leaders of central agencies located in the province; leaders of districts and cities; Associations and Unions; representatives of typical enterprises and a large number of people.

Delivering the commemorative speech, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Doan Minh Huan affirmed: President Ho Chi Minh - The genius leader of our Party and people, The great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution - Hero of national liberation, World cultural celebrity. His Testament is an extremely important historical document, the crystallization of the ideology, culture, intelligence, morality and noble soul of a great man. Over the past 55 years, his ideology and Testament have always accompanied the nation, illuminating and guiding our entire Party, people and army to always be steadfast and loyal to his revolutionary cause and ideals, successfully continuing the great revolutionary cause that he devoted and sacrificed his whole life.

Under the leadership of the Party, promoting the strength of great solidarity, determination and will of the entire nation, combining the strength of the nation with the strength of the times, our army and people have achieved great victories in the resistance war against the US, saving the country, completely liberating the South, unifying the country, bringing the country together, "fulfilling the wish of the President". In the process of building and defending the socialist Fatherland, especially over nearly 40 years of carrying out the national renovation, thanks to promoting the strength of the entire nation, with the joint efforts and unceasing efforts of generations of cadres, party members and people of all walks of life, our country has achieved great achievements of historical significance.

The Provincial Party Secretary affirmed: During his leadership and revolutionary activities, the Party Committee, Government and People of Ninh Binh province were honored and proud to welcome Uncle Ho to visit 5 times. Those visits took place at different times but all had a great common point: expressing his deep affection and love for the people and comrades of Ninh Binh province; his joy and excitement when witnessing the achievements and feats that Ninh Binh had achieved; and his concerns and thoughts as the highest leader of the Party and the country before the difficulties and hardships of the people. Each place name, each countryside in the land of the historic ancient capital where he visited left behind unforgettable memories, each kind greeting, each warm encouragement, his teachings... were all noble, profound, and humane lessons that the Party Committee, Government and People of Ninh Binh through generations cherished, cherished, and preserved.

Keeping in mind the wishes of President Ho Chi Minh in his Testament and his instructions when he visited Ninh Binh, with the attention of the Party, the State, the sharing and support of localities and people nationwide, over the past 65 years, especially since the re-establishment of the province in 1992, the Party Committee, the Government and the people of Ninh Binh have always been united with a strong will and great aspiration, upholding the spirit of solidarity, proactiveness, creativity, promoting potentials and advantages, overcoming difficulties and challenges, achieving important and comprehensive achievements in all fields. The provincial Party Committee has always paid attention to doing well the work of Party building and building a clean and strong political system. The leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party committees and organizations at all levels have been enhanced. In particular, social consensus, people's trust, and the blood relationship between the people and the Party have become increasingly strong. The great national unity bloc has been increasingly consolidated.

The Provincial Party Secretary also gave an overview of the achievements in socio-economic development of the province. He affirmed that: From a province with a low starting point, Ninh Binh has made great strides. With an average GRDP growth rate of 7.3% in the period 2020-2023 and reaching 8.45% in the first 9 months of 2024, Ninh Binh has risen to the top 5 fastest growing provinces in the Red River Delta. With high per capita income and positive economic structure shifts, Ninh Binh affirms its position as one of the dynamically developing localities in the country...

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized: Currently, Ninh Binh province is focusing on realizing its aspirations with the goal of making Ninh Binh a fairly good province by 2030, basically meeting the criteria of a centrally-run city; by 2035, it will become a centrally-run city with the characteristics of a millennium heritage urban area, a creative city, a large center with high brand value in tourism, cultural industry, and heritage economy of the whole country and the Asia-Pacific region; a leading center of the country in modern transport mechanical industry; a center for innovative startups of the southern provinces of the Red River Delta. A solid area in terms of national defense and security. Building a clean and strong Party and political system in all aspects, a developed economy, a prosperous society, and happy people.

To achieve that, the Provincial Party Secretary requested all levels, sectors, all cadres, party members and people of all walks of life in the province to continue to promote historical, cultural and revolutionary traditions, step up patriotic emulation movements, strive to successfully implement the Resolution of the 22nd Provincial Party Congress and the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, and build Ninh Binh homeland to become increasingly rich, beautiful and civilized. At the commemorative program, delegates watched the reportage "Ninh Binh remembers Uncle Ho's words" produced by Ninh Binh Radio and Television and enjoyed the art program with the theme "Following Uncle Ho's call" produced by the Center for Preservation and Development of Vietnamese Culture and Arts, and artists of Ninh Binh Cheo Theater. The art program was elaborately staged, vividly recreating the 5 times Uncle Ho visited Ninh Binh and the province's outstanding achievements in the 55-year journey of implementing his Testament.

The 55th anniversary of the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament and the 65th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to Ninh Binh is an opportunity to review the past journey, proudly report to Uncle Ho about the great achievements that the Party Committee, Government, army and people in the province have achieved in all fields. In particular, through the commemorative program, the message "Loving Uncle Ho, our hearts are purer/Wishing to reach out forever with Him/As strong as the Truong Son range" is also strongly conveyed. From there, it arouses pride, respect and infinite gratitude towards beloved President Ho Chi Minh, so that generations of cadres, party members and people of Ninh Binh can review and deeply remember Uncle Ho's teachings, inspire thoughts and act together, join hands to realize the goal and aspiration of building Ninh Binh by 2035 as a centrally-run city with the characteristics of a millennium heritage city and a creative city.
