Implementing the project "Army officers and soldiers help children go to school," Regiment 66 has provided financial support to 50 ethnic minority students from disadvantaged backgrounds who have achieved good academic results in the communes of Ea Rốk, Ea Bung, Ia Lốp, and Ia R'vê.

Each grant is worth 7.4 million VND, with a total program budget of 370 million VND. This project is part of the national target program for socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, giai đoạn 2021 – 2025; funded by the State budget for regular defense spending.
Speaking at the program, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Trung Kien, Deputy Commander of Regiment 66, affirmed: The project "Army officers and soldiers helping children go to school" demonstrates the deep concern of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense in supporting disadvantaged students, those from poor and near-poor households, ethnic minority students, students from remote areas, and those from areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions to overcome difficulties and attend school, nurturing future generations to build their homeland and villages, contributing to raising the intellectual and living standards of the people...

Also on that day, the unit organized the "Loving White Shirts to School for Children" program, through which they donated more than 100 sets of school uniforms to students at Le Dinh Chinh Secondary School in Ea Rok commune.
