Regiment 915 successfully organized a flight to change airports.

On July 15, Regiment 915, Air Force Officer School (Air Defense - Air Force) successfully organized a flight team to transfer the airport from Tuy Hoa Airport to Phan Thiet Airport, thereby affirming a new step of development in terms of scale, organization and quality of training of the unit.

Colonel Vu Hong Trung, Deputy Commissar of the Air Force Officer School attended and directed at Tuy Hoa airport; Colonel Nguyen Quang Hung, Vice Principal and Chief of Staff of the School, directly encouraged and congratulated the success of the flight team in Phan Thiet.

Helicopter number 7842, piloted by Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Tam, Squadron Leader of Squadron 1, landed safely at Phan Thiet airport.

Helicopter number 7834, piloted by Lieutenant Colonel Le Vu Huy, Deputy Commander of the Military Training Regiment, landed first at Phan Thiet airport.

At exactly 7:29 a.m., two Mi-8 helicopters landed safely at Phan Thiet airport under the control of Lieutenant Colonel Le Vu Huy, Deputy Commander of the Military Training Regiment, and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Tam, Squadron Commander of Squadron 1, along with the flight crew. This success was the result of the solidarity, unity, and high sense of responsibility of the officers and soldiers of Regiment 915 - the core unit in training military helicopter pilots for the Air Defense - Air Force and the entire army.
