At the places visited, Comrade Pham Thi Thanh Thuy and the delegation burned incense to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who fought and sacrificed for the independence, freedom of the nation and the happiness of the people; at the same time, inquired about the health and life of policy families, Youth Volunteers, and frontline workers who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign. At the same time, expressed respect and gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of the forces in the resistance war against French colonialism, contributing together with the army and people of the whole country to create the Dien Bien Phu victory that "resounded throughout the five continents and shook the earth".

He also requested that the Party committees and authorities of Nghi Son town continue to better implement the policy of gratitude and remembrance, paying attention to and caring for meritorious individuals and policy beneficiary families in the area, especially on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, creating motivation for each family to continuously strive to build a prosperous and happy life.
